Breaking the cycle of homelessness for Chicago's women and families.
Facing Forward Names New Executive Director and Board President
Facing Forward is excited to announce the hiring of a new Executive Director, Rev. Douglas Bradshaw, and the election of a new President of the Board of Directors, Sean D. Auton. The agency would like to thank former Executive Director, William Johnson, who retired this earlier this month after leading the agency for the last nine years. Additionally, we would also like to thank outgoing Board President, Joseph A. Zarlenga, for his leadership and guidance while serving on Facing Forward's Board.
The agency's new Executive Director, Rev. Douglas Bradshaw (pictured above), previously serving River Glen Presbyterian Church in Naperville, has a background in community outreach, leadership development, fundraising and strategic planning. Additionally, Rev. Bradshaw served on the Facing Forward Board of Directors for six years. He served on the Board Development Committee, acted as liaison between residents and Board, and served for three years as Secretary.
Facing Forward’s new Board President, Sean D. Auton (pictured above), has served on the Board of Directors for two years and is a partner at Horwood Marcus & Berk where he chairs the Business and Finance Group. Mr. Auton's clients are predominantly high-growth companies, ranging from start-ups to more established entities. He has in-depth experience structuring or restructuring organizations, helping leaders find and create the optimal structure to meet their objectives, whether it's for the purpose of encouraging growth and investment or for taking the best advantage of tax laws.
