Facing Forward to End Homelessness does not provide emergency housing.
We provide permanent supportive housing to clients referred through Chicago’s Coordinated Entry System [CES].
The Chicago's CES is used by housing and service providers to connect neighbors homelessness to resources in an accessible, equitable, and transparent manner.
A list of shelters and community service centers that serve as access points for entry into the CES can be found here.

If you are seeking short-term help with immediate needs such as utilities, rent, etc., dial 3-1-1 and ask to be transferred to Short-Term Help and the Homelessness Prevention Call Center to talk with a Referral Specialist.
